About AGC
WE ARE FULLY COMMITTED TO
Our Mission
The mission of Amazing Grace Conservatory is to train and develop emerging artists & at risk youth in the performing and digital arts by offering a well-rounded and culturally enriching, educational program in an environment that is nurturing for their personal, artistic and professional growth.
In 1997, Amazing Grace Conservatory (AGC) was born out of the passion for the arts and the love for children by co-founders, the late Mr. Tracy Lamar Coley and Artistic Director Wendy Raquel Robinson. Growing up in inner cities, Atlanta and L.A., these artists experienced firsthand the socioeconomic disadvantages that face African-American and Hispanic children and realized the need to cultivate, nurture and bring the arts back to the community. Twenty plus years later, AGC has grown from a small dream with 75 initial students to serving more than 500 students annually, and thousands since its inception.

Change Lives
AGC is also committed to furthering education in the arts. We offer 2 college scholarships, one named after our beloved co-founder, Tracy Lamar Coley: the TLC Scholarship is awarded to a deserving graduating senior that is dedicated to pursuing higher learning at a 4-year accredited university and majoring In the arts.
The second collegiate scholarship is totally funded by an AGC Alum and Academy Award Recipient, the Ashton Sanders Scholarship is dedicated to an African American Male who has demonstrated exceptional growth artistically, personally and scholastically. Some of our recipients have attended Yale, Julliard, NYU-Tisch School of the Arts, Howard University, DePaul University and Carnegie Mellon. We make every effort to educate and enlighten our students through the work that we produce!
